Holy Spirit in End Times Bible Prophecy. A Personal Testimony.

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" Acts 2:17

Holy Spirit flying as a image of a dove over a assembly of people. Come Holy Spirit! - Avocate, Counselor, Guide.

Throughout my life I explored various schools of thought and experiences in the pursuit of truth, but always found myself unsatisfied. In my late 30's, during a difficult period, I began trusting and following the teachings of Christianity. Since then, I've been on the journey of gradual transformation, finding redemption in many ways from my set of hurts, hangups, and habits we all have in some form, but still felt like something was missing.

I’ve heard stories of how the Holy Spirit had manifested in others lives, but I couldn’t see and/or describe with certainty if it was the Spirit working in mine, or just wishful thinking. Even if I did have something to share, I thought I'm too introverted and awkward to be witnessing about it. This radically changed a few years ago.

Dove flying down from heaven. - The Power of the Holy Spirit!

"But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me]" Acts 1:8 (Amplified Bible)

"Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 (Amplified Bible)

"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you." John 16:13-14

"The Holy Spirit is a beautiful and powerful part of who God is. We need Him in our life as a conduit to become who God created us to be, and through His power we have aid in all situations. Without Him, we are powerless.” Read more... What is the Holy Spirit & 10 Supernatural Ways He Empowers You

About 7 years ago, I was at the lowest point of my life for several compounding reasons, chronic pain being the main factor. It ended my career and the ability to live the active lifestyle I previously enjoyed. Two of my parents also passed within 3 years of one another just prior. This all caused me to become more isolated and depressed. The future only appeared bleak, how was this all going to play out I was ruminating?

I began asking God to take me home, or if not I was considering taking matters into my own hands. It was at this point I started to experience a perplexing manifestation which has left me in awe everyday since and given me hope and strength to carry on, despite my continued challenges.

Psalm 40:1-3: "I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord."

For the last several years I have been unconciously drawn to look at the clock at 11:11 and/or :11 after the hour throughout the day. I eventually found out others have been experiencing this lately also. These are a couple of quotes from a website I came across that resonated with my experience.

"Many people from all walks of life have begun to see 11:11 in various places, especially on their digital clocks, phones, and computers. As this begins to happen more frequently, many of us may begin to ask ourselves “What does this mean?” and “Why am I seeing this now?” "This synchronicity usually provokes the person who is noticing this phenomenon to search for answers or to feel they are being guided by angels or a supernatural force. Because people can begin to wake in the night to see some of these number combinations, it is also linked to being a “wake up call.” https://omtimes.com/2014/09/1111-biblical-prophecy-11th-hour-workers/

This began to make sense for me as this experience has coincided with being drawn to discovering the following which confirmed my faith.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

Bible Prophecy Truth - Know the future! Jesus riding on a horse and a bible underneath.

Prophecy is about 1/4 of the Bible letting us know what will happen in the future. Jesus stated in John 14:29;

"And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe."

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" Acts 2:17

This website signs-of-end-times.com, as well as many others that can be found online, are covering an extensive list of last days bible prophecies coming to pass, a time foretold to include various and increasing calamities, plagues, moral decline, and wars, but what is recognized as the number 1 defining event/sign unlike any other time in history is what Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:32-34, the parable of the fig tree.

"Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his (Jesus Christ) return is very near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place.”

Israel, Jesus' heritage, is known to be nationally, ethnically, and geographically represented as the Fig Tree. Their rebirth as a nation in 1948 after nearly 2000 years and the many biblical prophecies coming to pass is recognized as the meaning of the parable. Israel is 76 years old this year, at the end of a generational period. Psalm 90:10 states: "Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear, and we fly away." From all indications it appears that we are living at the end of "this generation" that shall not pass. More detailed information: The Rebirth of Israel

The following describes what is soon to happen if this is all true and how to prepare.

"The rapture is when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church (all believers in Christ) from the earth. The rapture is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. Believers who have died will have their bodies resurrected and, along with believers who are still living, will meet the Lord in the air. This will all occur in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. The second coming is when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial kingdom. The second coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16.” Read more... https://www.gotquestions.org/difference-Rapture-Second-Coming.html

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. Jesus Christ on the cross.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

"The Romans Road to salvation is a method based on the biblical principles found in the New Testament book of Romans to explain how a person can come to faith in Jesus Christ. Shared with millions of people around the world, the Romans Road explains why we need salvation, how God provided salvation, how we can receive salvation, and the results of salvation.” The Romans Road to salvation – What is it?
